| This room is quite a change from the small Foyer. It is a vast open room filled with rows of long tables, rather like a cafeteria. Each row has a sheet of paper taped to the edge of the first table, with a year hastily scribbled on it. The people at each table are working frantically at their computers, as if time were almost up on a test. Someone explains to you that each table is a separate Speed IF competition, where the contestants must write a game fitting a specified premise within a strictly limited period of time. |
